Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Sycamore Ollies LLC ("Ollie's," "we") collects through our website, olliesfrozencustard.com, and the Ollie's Frozen Custard mobile app (together, our "services"), and how we use it.

What we collect

  • Information you send us. When you use our order, catering, or contact forms on the website or in the app, we receive what you type in: your name, phone number, email address, order or event details, and message.
  • Push notifications (app). If you allow notifications, your phone gives the app a device token so we can send you updates like flavor news and announcements. The token doesn't identify you by name. You can turn notifications off at any time in your phone's settings.
  • Basic visit information. Like most websites, our web host keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser or device type, and pages requested) to keep the site running and secure. We don't use Google Analytics or other analytics or advertising trackers on the website.

The app doesn't ask for your location, contacts, photos, or an account, and it doesn't track you across other companies' apps or websites.

Ollie's Rewards

Ollie's Rewards is our loyalty program, run for us by SpotOn. When you join, it collects your name, email address, phone number, and, if you choose to give it, your birthday, and it keeps track of your visits and the rewards you earn.

We use this to run the program and to send members promotional emails and text messages, including birthday offers. To stop them, reply STOP to any text, or use the unsubscribe link in any email. To leave the program completely, contact us using the details below.

How we use it

We use what you send us through our forms only to answer you and fill your order or plan your event, and we use notification tokens only to send the notifications you allowed. Rewards information is used as described above. We don't sell your information.

Other services

Some parts of our services are run by other companies, with their own privacy policies:

  • Ollie's Rewards sign-up, loyalty program, and member emails and texts (SpotOn, privacy policy)
  • Pie orders and fundraiser applications (Google Forms)
  • Job applications (Jotform)
  • Catering and contact forms on our website: our own form, sent to us by email through our web host
  • Push notification delivery (Apple Push Notification service and Google Firebase Cloud Messaging)
  • The app's flavor, menu, and hours files and app updates, delivered from our website and Expo. Like any website visit, these services see your phone's internet (IP) address.
  • The map on our website (Google Maps), and our fonts (Adobe Fonts and Google Fonts)
  • Our Facebook and Instagram pages

Cookies

Our own website doesn't use cookies to track you, and the app doesn't use cookies. The outside services listed above may set their own cookies.

How long we keep it

We keep form submissions only as long as we need them to handle your order, event, or question, and for normal business records. Notification tokens are kept until you turn off notifications or delete the app. Rewards information is kept while you're a member, and SpotOn handles it under its own privacy policy.

Children

Our services aren't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.

Delete your data (Ollie's Frozen Custard website and app)

To ask us to delete your information:

  1. Email developer@olliesfrozencustard.com with the subject "Delete my data", or call (815) 758-8222.
  2. Tell us the name, email, and phone number you used, and what to delete: your Ollie's Rewards membership, form submissions (pie orders, catering, Give Back, job applications), or everything.
  3. We'll confirm when it's done, usually within 45 days.

Ollie's Rewards members can also ask SpotOn, which runs the program, directly: email privacy@spoton.com or call 877-814-4102. See SpotOn's privacy policy.

What we delete: your Ollie's Rewards membership (name, email, phone, birthday, visits, and rewards) and your form submissions.

What we may keep: records we're required to keep for taxes or accounting, for as long as the law requires.

App notifications: the app's notification code isn't tied to your name. To remove it, turn off notifications in your phone's settings or delete the app.
